A beautiful wedding-bed setup starts with dimensions. Take a few measurements before choosing a set so you can judge both the fit and the look you want.
Measure three things on the mattress
- Length: from the head of the mattress to the foot.
- Width: from one side to the other.
- Depth: from the top surface to the bottom edge of the mattress.
If you use a topper, tell us its thickness too. Measure the duvet insert and each pillow separately; the mattress dimensions alone do not establish their fit.
Understand the bed-cover layer
In our MS50190 set, the quilted bed cover is laid from head to foot over the mattress, beneath the duvet. It has optional fastening at the head and drapes at the sides. It is not an elasticated fitted sheet.
If the 245 cm dimension runs across a mattress of width W, a centred placement gives an approximate side drop of (245 − W) ÷ 2 cm. For a 180 cm-wide mattress this is about 32.5 cm on each side. This is a planning estimate; mattress depth, placement and the bed frame affect the visible result. It does not guarantee full coverage of a bed base.
